I have been intrigued by the tones, shapes and textures left on the local coastline, through the actions of man, fauna and the weather. In this instance, I have been exploring the way sunlight (harsh or diffused) shapes and accentuates these marks and features contrasted against the lighter tones. I’m also trying to impart to the viewer the mood of calm reflection and blissful solitude – the feelings I myself have experience during this visual interpretation. There is just something so relaxing about being by the sea!
